Collection Eyewear 2020
The new Ermenegildo Zegna eyewear collection, produced and distributed by Marcolin Group, stays true to the concept of the previous Spring/Summer collection and continues to revolve around four key clusters that are directly connected with the Zegna universe. The first one is “Chevron”, the iconic texture used for Zegna fabrics, now reinterpreted as a pattern that adorns the nose pads of all the glasses from the collection, as well as the metal temples and front pins; the second is “Shape”, a variety of shapes and thicknesses for elegant and sporty styles alike. The third concept is “Vicuña”, a distinctive color of the Zegna collection, featured on the lenses, hinge details and temple tips. Lastly, the “Tech” element, a nod to the sporty side of EZ, as well as to the House’s constant pursuit of excellence and desire to only use premium materials of the highest quality, such as leather inserts or polarized lenses. The iconic ‘XXX’ logo holds center stage also for the fall season: a signature metal insert and a distinctive symbol of the brand that lends character and a casual flair tothe collections. The latest project introduced by Zegna is called “Leggerissimo”: glasses characterized by extremely lightweight materials that reflect the brand’s dynamic attitude and are designed for travelers who are always looking for ultralightweight garments that can be packed easily without compromising their impeccable style
