Collection Eyewear 2019
The new Web Eyewear collection for Spring-Summer 2020 was inspired by a variety of innovative concepts, reflected in frames with contemporary flair. “Tortoise Comb” is the first concept on which two iconic sunglass models are based, melding a classic look with modern comfort for an exclusive, unique result. In true hipster fashion, these glasses are crafted and finished in the same way as the classic barber shop-style combs. “Urban Active” is the second concept, including all functional metal frames, ranging from graphic to comfortable styles finished with polarised lenses in different colours for each model. “Neptune Diamonds” comprises all the lightweight rimless shapes, crafted from an interesting combination of materials and embellished with polarised lenses for an entirely new look. “Pixelated” evokes the style of video games in the 80s and 90s, replicated through a range of eyewear in exclusive acetate reminiscent of the times. For “00’s Grunge”, the style of the 2000s becomes a trendy inspiration to replicate the iconic frames of the era, reinterpreted through colours, fits and materials. Hexetate, an innovative resin, was used in particular for its technical characteristics, which far exceed those of classic acetate: it is lightweight, flexible, durable, sustainable, as well as recyclable.
The wide range of shapes features more masculine square and pilot styles alongside more feminine cat-eye or large square frames, in addition to captivating wraparound designs. Havana colours play an important role in this collection, along with slim metals and contrasting coloured frame front inserts, creating trendy looks with personality.
