The new Max Mara Eyewear collection brings back the elements that define and enhance the brand’s identity. The designs are inspired by the combined visions of Eileen Gray and Lee Miller, two extraordinary women who helped transform the landscape of contemporary art and design, offering an unparalleled celebration of femininity. Lee Miller’s revolutionary spirit is reflected in the frames through sophisticated geometries that create unique light effects. Meanwhile, Eileen Gray’s architectural creativity influences designs with clean, pure lines, where iconic tubular structures are reimagined in the hinges and profile details. Acetates shape and slightly oversized silhouette are paired with elegant and shiny metal or combination frames that highlight the modernity of the design. The refined Maxim detail remains a central feature, and the new tone-on-tone treatment with the frame enhances its unmistakable ingot-like shape. The new JOEY model, inspired by the iconic Elsa, presents a more compact and harmonious version, accompanied by new sun and optical variations with a minimal, ultra-feminine silhouette. Seasonal colors are intense, with red or green-based tones, alongside classic Havana and black. Some models also feature Max Mara’s iconic camel color and new intriguing striped variations in gray, corten (rust), blue, and olive shades. To complete the collection, new clip-on models are introduced, where the Maxim symbol is integrated as an added design element, further enriching the aesthetics. Each model becomes a statement of style, where Max Mara’s unconventional and multifaceted aesthetic invites every woman to explore and express her identity.
