OUR HISTORY

1961.
Artisan workshops in Veneto were the drivers of economic and industrial growth in Italy. There is a district in this region that stands out for its cutting-edge business: making eyewear.Within this context, Marcolin was born.
The company, since day one, has been able to anticipate the evolution of an industry where offering high-quality and innovative products is key. Therefore, thanks to priceless Italian manufacturing tradition and a pioneering vision of the close bond between eyewear and the world of fashion, Marcolin has transformed over time from a mere “Fabbrica Artigiana” to a leading company in the global eyewear industry.
Over the years, Marcolin has been able to stay true to its origins, while turning its Longarone headquarters into a place where quality products are manufactured but also into the center of a network of relations and collaborations with dozens of partners all around the globe.
The company today has a wide and diversified portfolio of well-positioned and globally recognized brands. Four design and development teams based in Italy, the US and Asia work together to ensure that every brand’s global needs are met and that their DNA translates into unique, excellent quality products.
Marcolin designs and manufactures sunglasses and optical frames for some of the most prestigious brands in the industry: TOM FORD, Guess, adidas Sport, adidas Originals, Bally, Moncler, Max Mara, Zegna, GCDS, Barton Perreira, Tod's, Pucci, BMW, Swarovski, MAX&Co., Kenneth Cole, Timberland, GANT, Harley-Davidson, Marciano, Skechers and Candie’s. Its house brands include WEB Eyewear and Viva.
The company distributes its products in more than 125 countries thanks to a global network that consists of 14 worldwide branches in Europe (Benelux, DACH, France, Italy, Nordics, Spain, UK), Russia, the Americas (US, Brazil), Asia (Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore) and Australia (Sydney), as well as two key joint ventures in Mexico and UAE.
