GUESS was established in 1981 by the Marciano brothers, who left the south of France in pursuit of the American dream. Inspired by a European influence, the Marciano’s put their innovative touch on the apparel industry, redefining denim.
One of their initial designs was a stonewashed, slim-fitting jean, the 3-zip Marilyn. This was the beginning of a long success story.
The Marciano’s vision moved the brand into new frontiers. GUESS became a symbol of a young, sexy, and adventurous lifestyle.

GUESS has been part of Marcolin’s brand portfolio since 2013. The optical frames and sunglasses are contemporary styles that are dressed with on trend applications. The collection embodies the core values of the brand, with fashion forward silhouettes and daring combinations. Classic GUESS shapes are updated with a modern twist using bold colours and reflective mirrored shades to provide head turning styles to wear all season long. The pilot sunglasses continue to be a highlight each season and are the perfect classic style for both men and women.

The new GUESS S/S 2026 Eyewear Collection reimagines the brand's iconic codes through a refined visual language, where logos and decorative details take center stage as defining elements of the design. Across the collection, contemporary shapes and timeless silhouettes are elevated through a sophisticated use of stones, crystals and metal inserts. Brand signatures are reimagined through logo executions—from the redesigned “G” with softer curves and defined edges, to the square “G” rendered in a cut-out version or framed in iridescent metal. The rhinestone-embellished FOREVER GUESS oval plaque becomes a key statement, echoed by the GUESS script logo adorning the temples. The signature G chain returns on the front of two-tone metal frames and along temple edges, adding depth and character to the design. Additional accents, such as cursive lettering and 4G patterned lenses, reinforce brand identity while infusing each style with a glamorous, contemporary edge. The GUESS Men’s Eyewear collection balances modern design and classic appeal, featuring frames accented by the new double-line “G” logo as a symbol of elevated heritage and the timeless Roman “G” logo for a confident, masculine finish. The GUESS Kids Eyewear Collection playfully interprets the brand through vibrant colors, distinctive designs, dynamic patterns, and decorative motifs, transforming eyewear into expressive, fun accessories, without sacrificing comfort and functionality.
