In September 2020, Max Mara Fashion Group signed a licensing agreement with Marcolin Group for the design, production and worldwide distribution of Max Mara sunglasses and eyeglasses.Synonymous with style and quality, Max Mara is the expression of the constant search for perfection and balance between material elements, form and color. The first eyewear collection created by Marcolin Group was unveiled and worn at the SS2021 Max Mara fashion show.Geometric shapes, a harmonious dialogue between materials, and chromatic combinations of soft nuances distinguish the brand's frames.

The Spring/Summer 2026 collection by Max Mara Eyewear tells the story of a natural evolution of the brand’s identity, affirming a vision of elegance rooted in the dialogue between art, beauty, and femininity. Design is at the heart of the project. Every choice stems from the intention to elevate the aesthetic and functional experience of eyewear through the restraint and sensitivity that distinguish the brand. An elegant Seventies-inspired “Malibu” mood runs through the collection, with oversized silhouettes, refined geometric structures, and harmonious proportions—an expression of cultured and free femininity. In the sun styles, bold, rounded acetate fronts incorporate metal temples as both structural and decorative elements, breaking the continuity of the design and creating precious, eye-catching highlights. Optical frames revisit generous volumes and past-inspired proportions, reinterpreted with contemporary lightness. The frames channel the eclectic energy of Lee Miller into eyewear that expresses character, independence, and determination, balancing fashion spirit with elegance. At the same time, a dialogue with the architecture of Eileen Gray emerges in the tubular hinges and temples, treated as sculptural, essential, and luminous elements. These are introduced as a collection novelty in two sizes: smaller and more delicate in optical styles, more voluminous and dramatic in sun styles. The iconic Maxim detail also appears in the Ghost version, integrated into the bridge through a milling technique that engraves it into the material, creating a discreet presence that conveys quiet refinement. The collection also celebrates the return of two great Max Mara icons: the simplified and updated “M” monogram signs the temples as a metal insert recalling the brand’s heritage. The unmistakable Elsa style is presented in new colorways—a re-edition introduced as part of the brand’s 75th anniversary celebrations, featuring timeless style that transcends eras while preserving its expressive strength.
