At Marcolin, respect for the environment is not an abstract principle but a concrete commitment that begins with accurately measuring the impacts generated by our activities.
For this reason, we adopt a life-cycle approach (Life Cycle Assessment – LCA) that allows us to analyze the environmental impact of our products and processes along the entire supply chain, from the selection of raw materials to distribution. We use the Carbon Footprint, expressed in tons of CO₂ equivalent (tCO₂eq), as our main indicator, in line with major international standards such as the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1:2018.
In 2024, we quantified a total of 66,914 tCO₂eq (location-based approach), broken down as follows:
Accurate monitoring of these emissions allows us to precisely identify high-impact areas and take strategic action to lower consumption, enhance operational efficiency, and foster collaboration across the supply chain with sustainability at the core.
We are ISO 14001:2015 certified, confirming that we have an advanced and responsible environmental management system. Through internal and external audits, and by monitoring logistics flows and emissions at our production sites, we promote a careful, transparent, and continuously improving industrial model.
